In July, I will take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Lancashire Mind.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a route over the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough that covers just short of 39.2km with about 1,500m of climbing. All being well, it takes about 12 hours to complete. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Passing the amazing Ribble Head Viaduct, somewhere we have all photographed.
Lancashire Mind, who are based in Chorley, do great work and their vision is Mental Wellbeing for All and with your help we can stop misconceptions about mental health, develop resilience in people from an early age and work with communities to build a happier Lancashire.
Please consider supporting this activity by donating a small (or large) amount on our Just Giving page. (Click here)
This challenge is part of our company's effort to support Lancashire Mind this year and we will also be undertaking other activities, such as entering a Dragon Boat race in June.
Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your support.
Will Stead.
