November at the Club

November is a good time of year to practise photographing night scenes – especially fireworks around the start of the month and Christmas lights which are being switched on later this month.

 

At Chorley Photographic Society, our 2025-6 programme continues as follows:

Our Judge for tonight is Steve Hitchin EPAGB AFIAP BPE5.

10 Nov    Print Competition 2 Final Hand-in

Practical model night

We are always pleased to welcome models Dapper Dean and Lynda, who will be dressing up in their Circus Outfits. Everyone will have a chance to photograph them so don’t forget to bring your camera.

 

17 Nov     Print Competition 2

Our Judge for tonight is Rod Wheelans MPAGB MFIAP FRPS FIPF HonPAGB HonSPF

Rod is a member of Dumfries CC and Chairman of the APM committee.

 

24 Nov     Creative Print Competition Final Hand-in

Talk: ‘My Progression’ by Chris Wood DPAGB

This evening is a ‘Print celebration’ from the start of Chris’ journey in photography.  The prints shown tonight will range from ‘snapshots’ to ‘images’ up to DPAGB standard.

 

Some Ideas to shoot this month as the daylight hours dwindle include, Fireworks, Blackpool Illuminations and Autumn Colors.
