Memberships
Members rejoining for the 2023-24 season are reminded that (for most of you) memberships are due at the end of August or beginning of September. Please check the membership rates and rejoin on the club website.
Please note that you will not be eligible to enter competitions if you are not a club member. The first PDI competition is on 25th September so entries will need to be finalised on the Competition Portal by 18th September.
If you know anyone who is interested in joining Chorley Photographic Society, please let them know that they can have three trial visits before joining.
The new season starts in the club on 4th September, so come along to hear our first lecture by Paul Statter - everyone welcome.
Summer Programme
Our summer programme began in May and there have been outings every Monday evening throughout the summer. They have been well attended and people have enjoyed the opportunity to go out with other club members to take photographs in the local area.
As the season draws to a close, the organisers Geoff Kennedy and Susan Jackson would appreciate any feedback you can give to help with future planning.
For example:
- Which evenings did you particularly enjoy and why?
- Which locations were you not interested in and why?
- If you didn’t go out, why not (distance, weather, holidays, work commitments etc)
- Have you got any suggestions of locations for next year’s summer programme?
