Coronavirus and Chorley PS

As the country prepares for the spread of the Coronavirus, we are assessing the actions that we may need to take as a club. As you will be aware, many large sporting events and other gatherings of large numbers of people have been postponed or cancelled - including next week's Photography Show.

At this time, we are not planning any specific action regarding our existing programme and meetings but this will be continually reviewed in line with the Government's guidance. Our meeting on Monday currently will go ahead. However, we ask that our members consider their own personal health situation and, if appropriate, not come to meetings. A link to the government guidance can be found here.

A number of clubs in the UK have already taken the decision to cancel some meetings, or the rest of their 19/20 programme. At Monday's meeting, we will have a discussion with members to agree any action that we should take for the future, based on members feedback and government guidelines at the time. If you decide not to come to the meeting and want to provide feedback directly, please email president@chorleyps.org.
