This years virtual competition took place earlier this evening, with 41 clubs from the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union competing for the 2 Top prizes in the competition. These were for overall club winner and Best Individual Image.
The Competition was Judged by Mike Sharples from Smethick. Of the 164 images submitted by all of the 41 clubs, Mike narrowed the numbers down round by round, to the final 13 images by the end of round 6.
In the 7th and final round, Mike was given the un-enviable task of choosing an outright winner for the individual prize. The points from this round also went towards the overall club scores.
We are very pleased to announce that this years Individual Winner is CHRISTINE DICKINSON for her image ' The Prayer '.
ChorleyPS also came first with 20 points, closely followed by Poulton-Le-Fylde with 17 points in second place and BuryPS, Lytham St Annes and Warrington camera clubs in joint third place with 16 points.
